• Pre-Installation:

  • Co-wash the extensions with a sulfate-free conditioner before installing to remove any dust and refresh the hair.
  • Gently detangle the hair using your fingers or a wide-tooth comb while it is still damp.

• Washing & Conditioning:

  • Wash your wavy extensions every 1-2 weeks using a sulfate-free shampoo. Avoid shampoos with harsh chemicals, as they can strip the natural moisture from the hair.
  • Use lukewarm water and gently massage the hair from roots to ends, avoiding rough scrubbing motions.
  • Apply a moisturizing conditioner, letting it sit for 10-15 minutes to deeply nourish the hair, and then rinse thoroughly.

• Detangling:

  • Always detangle the hair while it’s wet or damp, starting from the ends and working your way up to the roots.
  • Use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to avoid breakage and maintain the natural wave pattern.

• Drying:

  • Allow the hair to air dry whenever possible to preserve the wave pattern.
  • If you must use a blow dryer, use a diffuser attachment on a low-heat setting to maintain the texture and prevent frizz.
  • Gently blot excess water with a towel, but do not rub, as this can cause frizz.

• Moisturizing:

  • Apply a lightweight leave-in conditioner or curl-enhancing cream to keep the waves defined and hydrated.
  • Use a small amount of argan oil or another lightweight oil to add shine and reduce frizz, focusing on the ends of the hair.
  • Avoid heavy products that can weigh down the waves.

• Styling:

  • Heat styling can loosen the wave pattern, so try to minimize the use of flat irons and curling irons. When using heat, always apply a heat protectant and use the lowest possible temperature setting.
  • For natural wave maintenance, use a curl refresher spray or lightly mist the hair with water to revive the waves.

• Night Care:

  • Braid the hair or tie it in a loose bun before bed to prevent tangling and frizz.
  • Wrap the hair in a silk or satin scarf, or sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase to maintain the softness and protect the waves.

• Long-Term Care:

  • Remove and reinstall your wavy extensions every 6-8 weeks to avoid tangling and matting at the roots.
  • Store unused extensions in a silk or satin bag to preserve the natural wave pattern and prevent dryness.

By following these care tips, your raw wavy hair extensions will remain soft, manageable, and full of natural, beautiful waves.
